Jennifer Rene Psaki
Jennifer Rene Psaki is an American political advisor who worked as the 34th White House press secretary from 2021 until 2022. A member of the Democratic Party she has previously served in the Obama administration as White House deputy press secretary (2009), White House deputy director of communications (2009–2011) and the spokesperson for the US Department of State(2013-2015) and White House communication director (2015–2017). Psaki worked as an CNN political contributor from 2017 and 2020. Psaki began her professional career with an Iowa Democratic senator, Tom Harkin, and was later elected governor of Iowa. Psaki was appointed John Kerry's deputy press secretary in 2004. Psaki was also the communications director for Joseph Crowley, a U.S. Representative, and the regional press secretary of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee from 2005 to the year 2006. In 2012, Psaki returned to political communications as the press secretary for the Obama reelection campaign in 2012. In the year 2000, Psaki was appointed the spokesperson for the United States Department of State. 20 years ago, she was employed at the Department of State to fill the White House Press Secretary Jay Carney's position.[21] But, Josh Earnest took his place on May 30,2014. She returned to White House in 2015 to become the communications director. She remained with the Obama administration until its conclusion.
